Lately, we've been terrible managers of our time. The computer has been nothing but a huge time suck, enthralled by streaming tv and facebook. So far this break has allowed me to be extremely productive. I've caught up on email, purged my closet, gone grocery shopping and I'm about to hang up two loads of laundry.
But me and my clever, devious self have already found ways to circumnavigate these liberal 'Spirit led' rules. I had to 'research' how to return some clothes to oldnavy.com, that opened up a can of worms to internet shopping. Which HELLO!, is so much better than real shopping! I went to walmart.com to see if they had nursing bras and they do. All I have to do is click on my size and wha-bam, they'll ship it to me for $.97 (how to do you type the cents symbol?! macbook you fail me!). That's SO much easier than browsing those messy racks of chaos. And I can do comparison shopping online too, which makes me a great steward of money.
Apparently when I'm not finding ways to waste time and entertain myself, I shop. I went to read the newspaper and found that I was magically attracted to the sales ads more than anything else. But LUCKILY for me, Target is having a baby sale including diapers. I hit gold! Who knew, if not for this
Another thing I've learned about myself while organizing the closet is that I might have some OCD tendencies. We have blue and white hangers MIXED together. I'm doing my best to separate out all the blue ones because we have way more white ones and I'm getting rid of clean plastic store hangers all together. I figure I can 'donate' the blue hangers to Goodwill and give myself a pat on the back at the same time. I told Louis about our little blue/white tragedy and he humbly decided that to prevent any further mishap, he would hang all his clothes on blue hangers and I could have all the white. Now maybe, I can go buy more clothes for all these hangers and extra closet space. =) Kidding. Buying Selah clothes is way more fun anyway.
More later!
