pregnancy update week 19

good grief!  It's been a long time since I've updated.  This post is short, I just wanted to do a quick recap of my pregnancy thus far so I remember. 

- my palms are itchy
- I'm starting to get a faint linea nigra but midwife says that mean I probably won't get any stretch marks (which are more permanent) so yay! 
- I'm still not really gaining weight although I'm starting to show. 
- It's a girl!  We found out at the ultrasound this last Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 2pm.  (I really thought it was a girl and am glad to be right!)  Heartrate 144 beats/minute, weight 1/2 pound
- Starting to get insomnia cause I can't toss and turn as often as I like!  If I'm awake for more than an hour, I'll wake Louis up and he helps me fall back asleep.  Cruel you say, to wake your husband up just because you can't sleep?  Well, if I can't sleep then he probably can't sleep either duh! 
- this pregnancy has been really easy in comparison to others I think.  I'm really grateful.
- I'm not cooking and I've been a really lazy housewife. 

Work has been stressful with lots going on but hopefully that will change soon, that's another post. 

I've been really hormonal (or that's what we'll scapegoat anyway) and emotional but I'm getting better.  Trying to take time to rest and enjoy the pretty weather.  Wish I started taking pregnancy pictures earlier but too late now!  I'm almost halfway there!  This pregnancy has gone by so fast.  I've stopped freaking out about being a parent and the pendulum has swung in the other direction.  Eh, I'll figure things out as I go.  Oh yeah, I need to post about our housing situation.
