Most Useful/ Must Buy Baby Products

I want to highlight 5 of my favorite baby items thus far.  I specifically chose these because they aren't too well known and I want to give them the attention they warrant. They're in no particular order.

5 Uncommon Must Buy Baby Items

Moby Wrap

One of the lesser known baby carriers, it's a LONG piece of fabric that you wrap around yourself to create a hold for your baby.  It's one of the only ways that I can get anything done.  I wear it when I'm at work, and when I go shopping and doing chores around the house.  Selah almost always falls asleep in it.  I like it because she's comfortable in it and it's snug and womb like.  It's also really comfortable for me.  Although it looks complicated to put on, it's really not, it's super easy to learn.  It accommodates babies up to 35 lbs and when she starts holding her head up better, I can put her in it face forward and she can see everything going on around her.

SwaddleMe

Our little one busted out of her swaddle a mere 2 weeks after she was born, she wouldn't stay swaddled for anything.  She still needs to be swaddled to go to sleep at night and this is just the ticket.  It's like a straitjacket for babies!  Lol.  My only complain is that her legs are still able to flail and kick and I wish that weren't the case.  We love these and it makes for great baby burritos if your little one needs it.

NoseFrida

Affectionately nicknamed the SnotSucker, that's really what it is.  It's great for getting out those congestive boogies.  The bulb they gave me fails miserably in comparison to what this thing can do.  It comes with a hose and mouthpiece that you literally suck on to get the snot out.  Before you're totally grossed out, there's a filter that makes it totally hygienic.  Works great!

Nursing Cover

This is the etsy store where I got mine

I LOVE THIS!  I think it's absolutely essential if you're breastfeeding exclusively and modest about it.  Fairly cheap and easy to make yourself (if I knew how to sew, I would).  It makes things discreet and you don't have to go out and buy a bunch of nursing tops.  I've learned that I can wear normal regular shirts and as long as I have my nursing cover, I'm good to go.  If I have a shirt that I have to pull up over my boob, then I wear a light cardigan so you can't see my shirt ride up in the back.

Bjorn Balance Babysitter

Let me disclaim, that I don't actually have this product.  I just desperately want it.  It's a bouncer that ACTUALLY bounces.  Most bouncers just vibrate and you have to manually bounce them yourself.  Which wouldn't be so bad, except that it defeats the purpose of the bouncer!  Sometimes a mom just wants to a few minutes of peace without a baby attached to her, like to go the bathroom.  It works with your baby and their slightest motion causes the bouncer to BOUNCE!  A very very sweet family at church, lent us their bouncer which vibrates and plays music and Selah enjoys that.  I don't want to sound ungrateful.  But she loves it when we bounce her in it and I think bouncer is such a misnomer.

Anyway, that's my fave five!  Other products that I also find useful are the boppy, a wipey warmer, and the swing.  But most of that is on everyone's registry.  Now if only I had a really good breast pump I'd be set.  The one I have now is borrowed and an older model.  I don't think it works very well.  And suggestions?

What about you?  And baby products out there that you found particularly useful?  Care to share with this new mommy?
