So... we're twiddling our thumbs waiting on Selah to get here. I realize two things.
1) You can do everything you want to get ready for baby, but in the end, she'll come when she wants to and you can't do a thing about. This reminds me of John, "the wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sounds, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." (John 3:8) Apparently this is with those born of the flesh too! We have no idea exactly when she'll get here.
2) I am way more anxious and concerned with her physical birth than I have ever been with anyone's spiritual birth. How's that for messed up priorities?
